Clearo question

When I got my Riva I filled the clearo with menthol liquid and its good, however when I got a small order of sample liquids I filled a carto with Grizwalds black jack flavour and the vape and hit is much better, should this be the case?

Wondering if its the different liquid, the menthol wasn't grizwalds or if its the clearo that just doesn't give as much vapour?

Different delivery systems do give a different vaping experience Morag, that's perfectly normal, it's not likely to be your eliquid, although the percentage of VG/PG in the mix could have a little bearing.

The resistance of your Carto v Clearo could also be different, the carto may be lower?

There's a little bit of trial and experimentation with vaping, to find what gives you the best vape.

ok thanks I just thought perhaps I'd got something v basic wrong so the clearo wasn't delivering the same way as the carto. I prefer menthol of a morning but my nicotine hit needs to be stronger so I'm thinking menthol in a carto would suit better. I'm not yet able to face black jack or such like before 2pm due to not being a morning person!

I think a lot of us have a few flavours on the go Morag, I know I certainly do and flit between during the day . . . with all these lovely flavours, it's a waste to stick at one.

I sympathise on the mornings, I'm not really human until at least 11 oclock.

Incidentally I've just given him indoors a go on the Riva and he's coughed and spluttered (tears and everything on the black jack) and following that he's even struggled with the menthol from the clearo which is much milder. Do you think a lower nicotine content would help with this apparent asphyxia... he's v dramatic.

Maybe Morag . . . although I think technique is probably as much the cause of the splutters as anything, the tendency is to draw down on a ecig as you would a baccy ciggy when you first try them.

I tend to take several ' chugs ', fill my mouth with vapour and then hold it there for a few seconds, before I take some down and exhale the rest.

Morag, I've tried several different types of clearos, but still prefer the draw & hit I get from cartomisers. However, it is a matter of taste as so many others prefer clearomisers

Thanks everyone and I'm still pmsl @ the "is that a dagger I see before me" what a diva!

I'm thinking clearomiser for himself because it probably is down to him drawing too long and hard that he's choking We shall have to try to find him his own choice of liquids though cos he's diss'd most of mine! And although I realise everyones tastes are different it is helpful to read what people say about the flavours, whether it was mild or overpowering etc, btw it also helps to know if they smoked roll ups I think because they must have a stronger tobacco flavour than filtered cigs! So keep on reviewing your juices folks I'm reading it all

Morag, get him to do what Perpy suggests - hold the vapour in his mouth for a few seconds instead of direct inhaling.

Hi Morag, I drift between Tanks, Clearos, Buds and Nanos. They are all fairly similar although the tanks and clearos are top coil while the Buds and Nanos are bottom coil.

I have a few cartos but I like to see how much juice is in my top before I head out for the day, hence my prefrence for the clear type.

In time you will find your own prefrence, but what we use and why sometimes comes down to your lifestyle more than what gives the best flavour for you.
And sometimes, especially for Drama Queens, it comes down to what looks best.
