brian have you tried cleaning the atties out ?
if you were happy with it in the beggining i cant see why you would want to go up in strength.
you could try LR atties as most of us experiment for months till we get it bang on to how we like it

Movie I tend to just get some kitchen roll and blow the atties from the top. Any excess juice should then come out onto the kitchen roll.
Also wipe the top of your battery there could be some juice on that too.
If you're still not happy with the vape then try LR atties, I swear by them. Downside is lower life and they burn very hot, meaning that occasionally the vape is too strong.
I've actually downed my nic strength now, I'm using probably about 12 mg nic content.

also get a cocktail stick wrap some loo roll around the end with 10mm hanging off the end and twist to a point, work it around where the atty screws onto ie the threads. you will get juice down there and this can cause a weaker feeling to the atty. i do mine every day now.

when i was using 510 standards i used to get myself a glass bowl boil a kettle fill bowl with boiling water and throw in the atties that needed cleaning let them stand for 5 minutes so the hot water loosens and the gunked up juice from the wicks, blow through and rinse under the hot tap till clean and then give it a good blow through and leave to dry for an hour or so. this method always brought my atties back to life and make them work like new.
