So I have a few clearos on the go, most are colour coded and I can remember what's in them, but I have 3 clear ones. I can usually identify a flavour by the smell, but I've just picked one up and couldn't, had a toot on it and it's really nice! Some kind of fruit menthol, I think. Can't for the life of me remember which of my many samplers it was now. Meh!

Update: I think it's the choc menthol I made up last week...gave up on it as it was rubbish, but the choc has obviously steeped and turned...fruity?? How does that work?? ???

If memory serves me right, a few months ago someone on this forum tried to make a chocolate cake type mix and ended up with lemonade.

*note to self* Make sure you remember Jen's post when attempting to mix a chocolate flavour! Does the opposite work, i.e. fruit changes to chocolate, I wonder? Andy

Andy It might be the weird mix of 50% cocoa 50% menthol that did something funny, or it could be my taste buds being on the blink! Cocoa itself it well known for having fruity undertones and different subtle flavours in it. Who knows?? ???

I suppose it depends on what particular chemical properties are in the flavourings. I routinely get a nice mint choc ice flavour using a few drops of well-diluted menthol in a chocolate juice (both Dekang). Perhaps if my menthol or chocolate came from different sources it wouldn't be as consistent.

I have a clearo that's been in my drawer for months. I have no idea what the hell it is. Should I try it!?

Go for it Ewol - should be nicely steeped by now, and might be a 'turn-around' juice that you used to hate but now love. Got to be worth a try!! Andy
