Strange Mini Nova question

I posted saying i was getting dry/burnt and tasteless juice from the Nova,but i found when i tilt it so only one wick is covered with juice it doesn't give me a burnt taste,even repeatedly tilting so the other side is dry doesn't affect it,why?

sounds like a message to the vendor - that isnt performing as it should...

Yes it is new,the vendor has ceased trading now and they was sold at a sale price.

if you would like you could send me the screw on head and i will re-wick & coil it for you.

before you do that just check a couple of things.

empty the juice.

take off the plastic tank.

make sure the head is screwed down fully.

take off the plastic bung on top.

fire the battery for 1-2 seconds and ook at the coil - to see if it is all lighting up.

You maybe have a loop of the coil which is not close to the wick and tilting one way keeps it wet, other way it burns dry. Wicks and coils are strange at times, you can make two coils and wicks which look and appear identical and yet one performs well and other gives a bad taste.

Thanks for the offer but i have tried 4 different heads so far.

Generous offer from tom & one that wouldn't hurt to try, the first thing i do with Mini Nova's is remove the wick & coil & put my own in for the reasons you stated in your opening post.
