PANIC,!! Riva not working!!

It's happening again, and is even worse with the carto? ??? I get a horrible taste with the carto too.

I've cleaned all around both batteries, and the connections on the charger. It seems to be charging ok, the lights do what they are supposed to, but I've noticed that once its charged and I screw in the clearo/carto, the button doesn't flash a few times like it used to whan screwing it in.

I guess all I can do now is order a new battery and panic till it comes.

I just don't understand why both are behaving in this way?

Have you thought about ordering a new charger while you are at it. I believe they dont cost much and always handy to have a spare.
I'm sure 1 of my chargers doesn't work properly.

Thanks Romlee. I've done all that (except the clearo washout, it doesn't seem to be that as it doesn't work with the carto either) but still nothing?

Are you charging your batteries via usb or through the mains?

Do you think it may be the charger? It seems to be charging though, the light is red then goes green? What's odd though is that the light on the battery doesn't flicker when screwing it to the carto or clears, like it used to. On either battery. Almost as if the connection isn't good?

I've just gone on Vapeescape to try order a new battery and new clearly ( rainbow type) but I wanted a different colour battery, the embossed one, and they don't do it in the larger battery size, and the purple clearl I wanted seems out of stock ( I know I could get the ordinary clearo but I like the others ) so I may have to go elsewhere. It just seems strange that both batteries are gone wonky?

Through the mains.

Try charging via usb, my partners Riva said they were charged when using mains but they was not, tried usb and they charged properly..worked for her, might work for you.

I only have an iPad and there's no USB port? Don't have any adapter- type thingy to convert it either. ???

Did you buy the Riva (Kit) if so it should have come with this: www.vapeescape.co.uk/ego-riva-echo-usb-charger-with-cord-%28510%29~144

If you have one of them you will have to find a usb port or maybe ask a friend to use their laptop/device for a bit.

Yep that's what I'm using, got it plugged into a adapter that plugs into the mains.

I will go knock a few friends up, see if I can use a laptop. I live right out in the sticks though, in a tiny village. All farmers, lol, a lot of the people I know think having a mobile phone is high-end technology , . I'm sure someone has a computer i can hijack for a while though.

Was exactly how my partners was acting, but then i charged via usb (not mains) it worked, fingers crossed it works for you

Well now I've gone and done it .

I tried prizeing the pin back up a little, and it popped right out!
