I have a problem, any ideas?

As well as the smiley box now freezing me out, since the change up in Proboards, if my cursor goes anywhere near the lower row of drop down menus, my page also freezes, meaning I have to close & reopen. It's been a right PITA & if I can't use smileys either, then it'll be worse than a bum covered in boils!

I have found that smilies do not work with Quick Replies, but they do if you post regular replies.

Vital, they work fine for me with quick reply.

Jess, try using Firefox as a browser - it's so much better than IE.

OK Chrissie, although I've tried it before, but wasn't keen. I still have it on here though, so I'll give it a go.

It's very odd, as this is the only place I visit where I have these problems & only since the change up.

Although I really don't like FF, looks like I'll have to use it for AAE-C, as it all works. Have IE open too & the smiley box caused a freeze up again. Very odd!

Might be talking nonsense, but I wonder if a javascript update would solve the problems you are having with IE9?

FF is so much better than IE, and yes, a Java update would help. I use FF as my default browser, and the smilies work in both Full and Quick reply - see

Well, I had typed..... Sheesh, finally done it, now let's see if I can post using IE9 with smileys.

Hah, that's a no then! As it froze up again as soon as I opened the smiley box. Ah well, Java is updated, I have the cleanest cache, but I will be using FF to look in on here.
