Some years ago chez moi...
It was such a beautiful day, a Monday I recall.
My OH was in the kitchen trying to remove floor tiles which were comming up in little chips because the builders had used the wrong adhesive.
Meanwhile I was in the garden, puffing away, and enjoying the song from a nearby Blackbird.
I heard my name being called, OH requesting a cup of coffee. So I nipped my ciggie and put the butt in my pocket. Well, just as I reached for the door handle I became aware of something hot and saw flames coming out of said pocket. At this point, instead of removing my coat and stamping on the flames, I thrust my hand into the pocket.
Ohh the pain. My fingers were all fused together with the melted plastic. And I could'nt look to OH for any sympathy otherwise I'd get the... told you to stop smoking thing.
Soo ,putting on a brave face, I somehow made the coffee with the left hand. Then I scarped upstairs to administer first aid.
To this day my OH has no knowledge of this incident. So if you ever meet him, mum's the word.

My ouch: I once through a fag end out of the car window, which came flying back in and landed behind me in between me and the seat. I was driving along a dual carriageway at the time with nowhere to pull over. I had a small round burn at the bottom of my back that hurt like hell for weeks!
Thankfully I've broken the habit. Not just smoking, but so far I've resisted the old habits and haven't chucked my Vamo out of the car window!

My cigarette ow was when I was happily smoking away at an outside event (country show I believe) and . The wind caught the fag blowing the lit ash into my eye. Had done similar whilst smoking in car but never hurt as much as that one. A few days later still in pain unable to open my eye properly and with light making it worse I was diagnosed with an eye ulcer. Bloody scary as it was my good eye and I'm blind in my other! Luckily they got it fixed!!!
My worst ouch though which isn't cig related wa sitting on my bed one night then jumping up in agony. I'd sat on my hot water bottle which was freshly much. I leapt in a cold shower which made it even more painful whilst my oh called ambulance. I'd burnt my hip, thigh and bottom cheek. Paramedics laid me on bed and put gel bandage over it. Luckily because I'd jumped in the shower so quickly I got away with superficial burns and no need for hospital. Needless to say I learnt my lesson and now a)always make sure there's some cold in before the boiling water and b) always check before I sit on the bed!!!
I could tell you about the wasp sting I got directly under my eye too on the day my cousin stepped in a nest and I chased after her trying to make her stay still....but I won't lol
