Animated avatar

I have chosen an animated avatar but when I get it on the forum it's static. Does anyone know what I've done wrong? I'm using an ipad if that helps. Ps have tried to make my own from the forum but just have a black screen come up

High Padiho, I've just checked your avatar info & it's a jpg file - it needs to be a gif to be animated.

As for making your own, are you clicking on edit avatar under the proboards one or clicking the "pick one" link next to choose a forum avatar?

I am a bit confused with all this jpg and gif but will try again.

No problem Padihio,

It looks like you have uploaded your pic from your PC? if so is it animated on there?

To make your own, you need to click on the "edit avatar" link under proboards avatar in your profile.

Done that Chrissie still get black screen. I am using ipad, not sure if that makes a difference and yes it is animated on my screen. I will keep trying

It's because we are on the ipad, it needs flash but if you want to you can go to the App Store download 'puffin' it's a new browser that allows you to use flash, you can make one then if you want to.

Yes yes it is, i will hot foot it now and download Puffin. Then I can play all day and keep this OLD grey matter of mine working !!!

I truly believe this is the most fantastic forum on the net. Whatever the problem someone will have the answer.Answers are given without making you feel silly, no bad language is ever used and everyone is sooooo friendly.
Now if anyone knows a safe place to put my savings and get more than 2.5% ?.....lol

Co-op/Britania are doing 3% fixed for 5 years but you cannot get at your money, so long term.

thats the problen Greigster, cant really tie it up at the age I am now!!

sandra still cant get the animated avatar going. as you can see have made my own ( wish I still looked like that )
