My new disability allowance payments were due to go in my bank tonight. I logged into my account just now and discovered there is £618 too much in there! The DLA payment is in but i got now idea where this other money has come from. There is no other deposit showing on the statement. Looks like i will have to phone them in the morning. This happened to me once before many years ago. Then, it was over £1000! Tis a very cruel thing to do as you start thinking, oooooh what could i spend it on LOL but, being honest you always end up doing the right thing. Shame though, i need some new clothes for the spring time!!

I reckon we should hit Oxford St and have lunch in Selfridges. Ooooh wouldnt that be good. Not done that for years and years.
The reason i am up is because i went for a little nap early evening and ended up sleeping for 6hrs!!! I am now wide awake and bushy tailed. Why are you up?

Dolly, you weren't owed arrears or had your claim upgraded to a higher care/mobility level recently?

I did think of that Sam, but the problem is there is no sign of a deposit anywhere on my statement. I have even gone back over a month checking everthing paid into the account and it doesnt match up. When i have had breakfast i will phone the bank to sort it out i hate it being there. I know i was joking with Sadie during the ninght, buti dont actually like it being there. I want it gone if it is not mine because it makes you think you have more money than you actually do.

Having that money in your account is obviously troubling you so if you want to put that cash into my account I'll be more than willing to take all that stress and worry from you ....

If only it was possible for a new car and a shopping spree with £600ish. That would be PERFECT!.
It was almost like when I had my bike crash compo come through, it was like WOW never has my bank seen this much money. But then after moving house and paying of debts I was left with a whole...................£120 to spend "freely".

I managed to sell our old car that died last week. Thought i was quids in, but the very next day my phone died!! Typical. Got a secondhand one on ebay and the rest is squirrelled away to pay the deposit on the motability car. Right...off to ring the bank and kiss my windfall goodbye. LOL
