Just thought people would like to know how much has been made for Dizzy Dogs Day so far - I have sent £195.50 - not including Paypal fee's which I paid out of my own money - thank you all SO much, that is incredible!!!!

I've been asked to post the following from the owner of Dizzy Dogs Day who is over joyed at the amount we have managed to raise

Thankyou so very much to everyone who has, and is, helping to make Dizzy day another amazing success. Every single penny raised goes into either educating the public on the day about the reality of animal rescue and welfare or it goes directly to a rescue or animal organisation.

For 2013 any profit goes to The Deaf Dog Network who is dedicated to not only saving the lives of deaf dogs but making people aware of the amazing companions they make.
Sadly the UK is putting over 1500 dogs to sleep a week, there are NO regulations at all to govern rescues, dog fighting it the FASTEST sport in the UK (yes really) anyone can call themselves a trainer or behaviourist and charge you for the priviledge and anyone can breed as dogs without thought or care into how healthy they are or are not. This is just the tip of the iceburg and this is why Dizzy Dogs Day is so very important.

The general public need to be aware of all the facts before we can take a stand and make the government take responsibility.

The kindness you have all shown by supporting us is immense, though we are new and our approach is new it is and does work but it takes time, money and support
