I have one of these... A portable battery starter & power pack. A friend wants to borrow it, but it seems the 220/240v mains charger has gone AWOL. I have other chargers here, but how do I go about sorting one that will do the job, pretty please? Sorry, but I'm a numpty as far as stuff like this goes. Actually, scrub that, I'm just a numpty!

I've got one of those - probably a different make and its yellow. It originally came from my mum's garage when she moved so I think the charger went out with the rubbish If you find something that can charge it please tell us as I have tried all sorts of chargers but they don't charge it enough.

Mine's a different make to the pic, French bought but looks identical. So will let you know, Sooetie, I'll jot the numbers down when it's finished charging & I've checked it. At the moment, it's showing about 30% charged, so hopefully....

Hope you have better luck than me. I had one, lost the charger (bloody kids) and found nothing that could get the charge above 40%. Had to buy a new one.

Jess yours is better charged than mine ever did - think it got to about 15% and stopped. Not enough to start a car. My neighbour gave me a jump start a few times but my old heap finally went to the scrapyard

I think, you need 500 Ma 12v written on charger if it contains a 12v battery (which im guessing it does inside) similar to a trickle charger for car batteries

I'd have thought that a jump start power pack would probably use a fairly universal mains charger/lead.
As long as the connection is the right size and mains outputs the correct power, you're in with a chance. I think I'd take it to a motor factors or somewhere and ask them.

Universal multi adapter should do it just make sure it can handle the 12v option & that you get the polarity the right way round with the adaptor head you use. But seems you have it sussed
