I love seeing the catkins about, another sign of Spring (at least it used to be). Also saw a Red Admiral butterfly today, got me into a really good mood.
Can we please have a decent Spring & Summer this year to make up for the last few years of drabness!

Long range forecast says heavy rain in June, and a scorcher in July and August. That's pretty much just guess work when it comes to forecasts that far away, but I hope it's true all the same.

Been lovely hasn't it Sadie? Mr Dolly sat in the garden for a while earlier. I wasn't brave enough.I was still in my dressing gown. Wish I had my car. Perfect day for a trip out with the grandkids. If it is like this next weekend I might take them up to Marsh Farm near South Woodham Ferrers. I am hoping they might have some lambs by now. That brings back memories, my son used to love Marsh farm, the little piglets were soo cute, the last time i was there, they had opened the hut with the rabbits, guinea pigs, you was allowed to stroke them & pick them up, thats going back along time, my son is 21 now lol, enjoyed our days out there with a picnic. not long now Dolly, looking forward to hear about your ventures No 3 more sleeps as my GD said on the phone tonight lol Marsh farm is a great place. I love it as much as the kids do. The good thing for me is they provide a free mobility scooter for disabled so i can zoom around with the kida to see all the animals and after they had their obligitory pony ride I let them loose in the kids play area and get lunch from the cafe. Great day out.

I was born there and got married there, Gretna sadie, followed by a honeymoon in a rented cottage just off the middle of Loch Ness, anyhow when we went out for days out around there you will see all the warning signs for deer, yeah plenty of signs, but not one deer did we see, mrs claims there are no deer in Scotland Lol, there are I've seen a few lol

It's lovely again, but some wasp went for my vamo. EDIT: I don't even know if it was a wasp to be honest. Isn't it too early for them? All I know is it was orange and flew right at me.
