My Vamo from Vaporbreak has an intermittent fault, see pic. Web hunt says PCB fault on the wiring. Now comes the potential return/refund battle Found more posts on ECF suggesting this is the spring problem, but mine I think has the larger revised spring. I have only ever used it with 18350 batts. Anyone with advice/experience ? Get out that Maltese bar Rob !!!

Sometimes I get 0.2 when the coil resistance is too low, just a thought

Yes sounds as though it could be a coil resistance problem, I've had the same on mine.

Yes,i think that is your issue to be honest. If you haven't already, change atomisers and it should work as normal.I have three Vamo's now and none of them have ever missed a beat, the electronics are good IMO.I'm not saying that the Vamo's can not fail, but just to cover every avenue before coming to the conclusion that it's faulty.Good luck.

It's running the 1.8ohm coil from Nova kit in that pic. I regularly check the resistance cos I can I'll play some more tonight, tho to add I have noticed it feels hot at the top above the LCD sometimes.

If a coils resistance is too low the display, by design, would say 'Lo' and not 0.2
Plus, I think the unit in the pic is reading 02 and not 0.2
I can only suggest the obvious and make sure you have tried a known to be working fully charged battery, and of course a known to be working atomiser.
Other than that, contact your vendor.

Could be iffy battery does it turn off after showing 02 and then if you 5 click turn on again? With these Vamo's they need a battery that can deliver high amps, protected batterys own protection circuit kick in if of lower quality.

Well noticed Skwoddy,I thought it said 0.2 but looking at the picture again it is indeed 02(Must get my eyes tested)I have never had 02 on the screen like that,so i have no idea.If it continues then contact the vendor as has already been said.Hmm,very strange Edit to add, what make 18350 are you using?Just out of interest.

Good point, vamo's do not like protected batteries, efest, Panasonic, and AW type IMR batteries are ideal.

Chances are it is the poor quality batteries at fault then,my fingers are crossed that it will resume normal service for you when you put a panny in tonight.I have just binned a couple of those crap 18350 blue unbranded batteries as they just don't seem to power any mod up properly and they only give me an hour of below par vaping.

Just tried fully charged brand new 18650 panasonics, still the same. No reply from Vaporbreak as of yet tho.
