It is a good friday for me too. Big cheque cleared today so debts being paid off and my oh has just booked us a 2 day trip to alton towers staying in the splash landing hotel. All in all a dam good day. Only bad thing is i am sleeping in the truck tonight and working tomoz.

I'm celebrating too.
The painters and decorators are promising to be finished by lunchtime tomorrow. Yippee.
Only tomorrow morning to go and then I will throw the dammed alarm clock in the bin as I will no longer have to get up early to feed and then walk the dogs before the painters come in and start clattering about on wooden floorboards, playing lousy music on their radio while gaily slapping paint everywhere.
Roll on Sunday when the paint will be dry and we can start getting some resemblance of normality back into the house.
That has been 2 weeks of utter pandemonium.
The next time I will wait intil the summertime and go away for the two weeks and let them get on with it.
