I got my first one out of curiosity, at the time I'd seen the up and coming SS tubes for it and thought I could make my evic into a great little mod because I personally found the tubes that are supplied quite ugly. The puff counter was a gimmick that was entertaining for a couple of days but I stopped looking at it a while back. It did give me a rough idea of how much I was actually vaping during the course of the day and all the info is stored on the pc so if I ever feel the need to analyze my vaping habit then I can. Now I have the SS telescopic tube set I've found that the evic is a great looking mod and very comfortable to hold and it performs. One feature that I adore on this mod is the screen info display, mine is set to VW and is running at 8w which is the power setting that I vape at on all vw mods and 9 times out of 10 I'll use a rebuildable attie. The screen will show my current wattage setting, the equivalent voltage, the battery level and the resistance of my coil. It will show this all at the same time so I have no need to go trawling through menus to get the info I require- Brilliant It can also be configured to show the time and puff counts should you want that. Another massive plus for this mod is the ability to plug it in to a usb power supply and use it as a pass through whilst it's charging, Ideal when I go out because I can plug it into the car and vape away quite happily and arrive at my destination with a fully charged battery. When I'm at work I can plug it in to a usb charger and never have to worry about running out of power or carrying extra batteries, in fact I never even use this mod in its full 18650 mode preferring the smaller 18490 or 18350. One single 18350 battery can last me the day instead of 2-3 hours. Also, should you require it the evic can be set to deliver different levels of power during the length of a single button press, or it can be set to run for an amount of time set by the user when the button is pressed meaning that if your average puff is say 5 secs you can just tap the power button and the mod will fire for 5 secs. Not something I'm too bothered about but it's there if I want it It is a joy to use and can be configured to work exactly how you want it to work and once the supplied tubes are replaced it's a very good looking device. And this is the screens in my configuration, all the info I require at a glance

I will try one soon, the reason I have held off is,I got a bit fed up with the constant flood of new stock that was version 1 a week later you would get V1a then V2.So I promised myself I would not be a tester any more and just wait and see what floated to the surface after a few months, the evic and zmax and vamo all seem to be decent mods now all we need is battery technology to jump ahead and someone to produce a 18350 that lasts a few days, and I will be sorted I am hoping they keep updating the software, but when they do that it will be to increase functionality, not because something is wrong with the current version. The current version is absolutely fine. In the same way that you get updates for firmware and software for other things.

Got my silver one from them just in time, not that the one that comes with it bothers me that much.

The Postman has just been with my Evic purchased from Blackdog here on the classies. It is sitting on the coffee table still in its packaging whilst I am reading this thread. I am getting as much pleasure from the anticipation of opening it as I will get from using it. I will order the telescopic tubes, Alltough I have put myself on the list for a Kir Fanis tele, I am still torn between that and the one from the House of Mods. The house of mods is available from the UK by Royal Mail First Class for about a tenner more than the Kir Fanis one, so I could have it this time tomorrow or do I wait for a couple of weeks for the one from Kir and save a tenner? What a dilemma, tomorrow or 2 weeks time ??? Still haven`t opened the packet
