Why did you, or why not buy an evic

Ok , I opened the packet I received from Blackdog here in the classies and it could well have been a brand new one, all settings set to Zero and so well packed.
I popped the battery on charge but could not wait for that so popped in a freshly charged Panny 18650, wound up the volts to 4.5.
Screwed on a Kayfun Mini and took a draw but thought it a tad under powered so changed to watts. Increased it up to the full 11 watts but still felt a little low using PVC 24mg.
Took off the Kayfun and replaced it with my Igo-L and some Alien Visions Hype 24mg and had to lower the watts down to 9.
I have since put the Kayfun Mini back on and it now seems great at 10 watts with the PVC.
Had a read of the posts on here and beardo (good old boy) posted that an Evic, bod telescopic plus both sizes of top cap were up on the UKV classies. As I had been pondering over whether to get the Kir Fannis or the House of Mods "bod" telescope.

It would seem that after a little intervention from somewhere, I felt pushed to put in an offer of the asking and was lucky to have nailed the purchase.
So now I will have 2 Evic`s
Do I want 2? well I will have to see but I definitely want one. It is a great Mod and I am surprised that I do keep looking at the "puff counter" but I am sure that will wear off, although I am quite surprised at just how many puffs I have had

I love the screen/display even though I have not changed it yet, so I am looking forward to reading the manuals that came with it and I have to download the software to my lappy this evening.

The vape is now perfect for me and it will be fun to go through all the bits and bobs.

Is it better than my Vamo`s or Zmax? Well the vape is the same, no better and no worse but I will have a lot more fun with the Evic.
I have said in previous posts that for me, vaping is a hobby. I seem to spend more time here on AAEC than I do sleeping. I love my hobby, but for those that just want to vape, then the eGo, spinner, Zmax and Vamo are all unbeatable.
Still only had the Evic for a few hours but it "vapes great" to coin a phrase from a good Scotish friend.

If you ever get to the point that you want to cut down on the nic, the EVIC and the software will be invaluable to see how you are doing. Would you vape more if you used lower nic juice? the EVIC will tell you that. I think future updates on the software will be able to tell you how many seconds you have actually had the button pushed. That is what I want to do with mine, maybe over a year, cut down the nic to zero, it should be virtually painless as it would have been such a slow withdrawal from nicotine.

edit............in the light of possible legislation etc, hopefully I wont be looking for anymore nicotine to vape in a year`s time.

Romelee, I am looking forward to having a go with those.

I said in my previous post that at first the vape was a little weak but only by using the Evic have I found out why (I think). Whilst looking at the screen, post draw, I have realised that I may have been vaping wrong from the start (Last Year). I noticed on the Evic that the length of time for my draw was only 3-4 seconds, I am now taking bigger draws, 5-6 seconds and finding that it is a lot stronger/satisfying. So on that basis I may reduce the watts or the nic content as Robby has advised, or of course I may carry on at high watts and just enjoy the big hit.
I would never have realised where I personally was going wrong.

I reckon there is also scope in the future to enter the nic content of your juice on an ongoing basis so that it can come up with a total of the nicotine you have vaped. The mod doesnt have to change for that, just the software
