+1 for the Nexus 7, a very good bit of kit.

I've a Nexus 7 Jane . . . it's a great little tablet for what it cost, I use my mobile phone's wi-fi service to create a hot spot. ( Kindly shown to me by the guys at last years Vapefest. )

My only criticisms, I would have liked a backward facing camera and a bigger screen than 7", but that's probably down to my limitations, rather than the tablet's.

I was actually thinking of just knitting one like I did for my macbook? With possibly a flower on it ....

I've ordered the nextbook @ £90...looks as good as the nexus and a fraction of the price. I looked at the kindle fire..rip off. Just amazon....

No reviews so far of the nextbook hardly so must be good....

Yeah I can see what you mean about the 7" Perpetua. I just got my tablet. I think I might still knit a case for it next few days...

Hoping my old walkman memory card fits this tablet though...don't think it will but still. Can't afford a memory card for a few weeks so am limited on apps

Ok, I am going to be blunt and honest with this as I work with thease things daily.

DONT GO FOR CHEAP under £100 tablets!!! WHY?. Because they are painfully slow and will end up as a glorified paper weight within a short period of time.

Save up an extra £50 and either get a Nexus 7 OR (and although slightly less powerful in processor terms) get a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 2 7.0 which are new £159.99

OR look on gumtree, you will find loads on there from people who have brought it, and didnt like it (and the warranty still comes with the device! so win win).

But please for your own sanity, DONT go for the cheap, as it is dire in performance. (Unless you are looking at a developer tablet to experiment with!)

+1 it will be a big disappointment if your expectations are too high.
