Spheroid on a piccolo

I've tried about six different coils in the spheroid and when it's on the picollo I don't get much flavour or loads of vapour. When I put it on the vamo and up the wattage it is amazing so I guess its my poor coiling or the picollo cant deliver enough power. My current coil is 2 ohms, 4 coils using 0.2 kanthal. Anyone know how I can get more out of the spheroid on the piccolo? Not sure if I only wrap 3 coils to lower the resistance it will produce less vapour.

Hi Gavin.
You will find if you make a lower resistance coil of around 1.2 - 1.4 ohms, you will improve both vapour and flavour.
This was the set up I used. Also ensure the coil is situated diagonally between the posts.
Also make sure that the piccolo battery end cap is fully screwed in, thus enabling the internal switch to make "Full" contact with the battery
Hope this info gives you the vape experience that the spheroid, piccolo will and has achieved, in my usage.

VV or vw is where it's at, solves lot's of problems can you kick the piccolo?

Deffo not enough power in a piccolo in my opinion. VV and VW is the way forward for me.

I partially agree with your comment.
But if you are looking for a small "complete vaping system" that does "not leak", and is very stealthy, and gives a `full` flavoured vape, you have to go along way to beat it.
Should they in the future produce a unit as compact as the `piccolo`, but with VV, I would agree with you.

Hi Jeff I agree for stealth vaping the form factor is perfect, but I vape at high watts and was never able to get quite enough TH but thats just me.

It is a good looking mod with a Spheroid on top and for most people it is a cracking duo but just not for me.
