Boge cartomizers

Hi ..looking for help my boge sr carts arrived today  from vapeescape   However after filling one using the condom method and then topping up ....I'd need a poultice on the back of my neck to get anything out of it  ...is this normal or have I done something wrong ?

If you unscrew it off your battery and try sucking through it can you suck through it ok?

If you can, then the problem is airflow through the threads, try not tightening it down so much.

Are you sing anything else like a plinth or cone?

I can suck it thro fine ..lol...tried loosening it ...not using a cone nor a plinth nor anything else ..ego 1100 battery ..raised the pin too ..still nothing

Is this the first time you have tried a Cart? If you have been using a Clearomizor from the start it may of pushed the center pin down a bit, look at this post and watch the video regarding the center pin.

If the pin is too low the carto will not fire up as it is not touching the center pin so nothing will come out of the carto when you vape.

Watch the video very carefully and be very gentle with the center pin if you do try it.

Thanks Romelee already done this ...I wondered if its just harder to get draw out of ....I am getting something I'm just having to sook v hard ..like sucking a walnut thro a straw

I suspect that the thread in your Riva is blocking the air hole in the bottom of the cartomiser.

Maybe trying a 510 to 510 connector (has to have a hole through the middle) may help?

*fingers*Whoop whoop i think I've found the problem ... Thanks disco ..there doesn't appear to be any air holes at the side of the thread on the carto ...the other one I have opened has ...it must be a manufacturing error ?.so of to try again ...watch this space.

It's not distracting from the pleasure of my first taste of banoffee cream in my first working boge cart ......I think I like these better than the clearos ....but time will tell ..thanks again for all the help

Ah, you have been so unlucky Fagsareus, I've used hundreds of Boge cartomisers & only ever had one completely duff one with the air holes. In fact they were there, but not punched through. So I got it working by carefully punching them open with a small nail.
