Hey guys and girls! Just joined forum after lurking a while. So... been vaping almost a month now favourite flavour atm is ecto plasma from juicy vapours. Not quite cig free but I'm almost there. So...I started off with a kingo starter kit from ok smokey ( basically an ego kit with 650 batts as far as I can tell) over priced imo. In the month I've had it the cartomizers leaked all over the place (replaced with vivi novas) 1 battery is completely dead and the other keeps losing charge after a few hours when it used to last 2 days. So anyway I've had enough of it and I'm looking to upgrade to a VV device I've had a look around but I just get overwhelmed by how many there are and seeing as how I want to spend quite a bit of cash I thought it was best to get some advice first! My budget is £100 and I was hoping I could get a decent device, 2 batteries, wall charger and any other bits I might need. Oh and also 510 connection so I can use my vivi nova tanks. Thanks in advance, this forum is awesome!

I'd get yourself a vamo, Xtar wp2 charger and a few 18650 and 18350 batteries IMHO. It is considerably bigger than the ego you are use to, but they are Awsome!

+1 for the VAMO if you are ready for a unit of that size. Otherwise Romelee's suggestion of the spinners is the next best option.

Thanks for everyones suggestions! I was looking at the vamo,
If I order the vamo and 2 18650 batteries + the xtar charger for 15.99 it comes to £71 with the discount, anything else I will need?
I have a couple of mini vivi novas at home will they work with it? Would you guys suggest a different carto / clearo for this shiny beast?

Novas will work fine with it to start with bud. Once you have your mod sorted you can experiment with other juice delivery systems. I have been trying loads of different one, but keep going back to the trusty Novas.

Hello and thought I might make a suggestion because I own one and that is the eVic kit from bargain vapour link: www.bargainvapour.com/index.aspx?pageid=1274299&prodid=8322042 this kit with the promotion and shipping from Ireland will cost just over £60 which I think is a bargain, it gets good reviews and is firmware upgradable

Edit --- Ahhhhh! I am a bit late but maybe my ramblings are still relevant to others reading. Forgot about the evic - seems very good and a good choice. Hi arrowmunda and welcome to the Forums. I am looking at your post and you said the 650 batt last you two days so you are not really a heavy user so wondering if the Vamo might actually be a bit of an overkill for you. Totally Wicked have an 40% off offer on just now for a mini chrome vv lava tube kit around £39 for the kit, they call it the Torpedo. www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/discounts-offers/wicked-weekly-discounts/torpedo-chrome-mini-vvv-kit-product.htmlIts worth looking at as may be of interest. Ecigwizard do a bare lavatube chrome full size. www.ecigwizard.com/mods/variable-voltage/lavatube/chrome-lavatube-body-only.html. Another option to have vv is to the Ego twist batteries. If you are not too bothered about variable voltage the one nice option is the Joyetech 18650 mod. It has a feature where you can select a regulated voltage of 3.3 volts or full battery voltage. It is quite useful as when your atomiser stops working so well you up the voltage to the raw battery voltage and it improves its performance, also the benefit of using 18650 battery cells so not so costly to replace batteries when they age, and they will last a lot longer than ego batteries. So, above is just throwing in some other ideas for you along with the Vamo. If you like the ego size, then the Joyetech 1000mah upgrade batteries ( dual voltage) will perform, much better than your 650's, be longer but same diameter.
