Thanks Blackdog, is this something that can be changed by a software upgrade do you think?

Looks to me that they have made it from all the bits they have left over after cloning all the other mods out there. Including the name of one!
I feel responsible as a few days ago I ask why someone hasn't made a cheap provari yet

I vaguely remember a technical review with all the measured outputs showing the vamo only performs at over 11.??? When it has a pair of 18360 fitted but not with a single battery of any power. That's why I'm working on a twin 18650 version......

If you really want power I'd recommend a Throathit twin 18650 mod - that will get you well into lightbulb territory and will deliver up to 6 volts at 5 amps with almost no voltage drop I've never tried ramping it up quite that high, but I did stick a 1.5 ohm coil on it at 6 volts once - I haven't repeated the experiment!

Yes,and fingers crossed for an increase in the next software upgrade I could have sworn they were 15 watts when I first looked into getting one They were supposed to be but the watts limit was changed in firmware version 1.1 from 15 to 11 as the hardware cannot deliver 15 watts. 3. Wattage arrange modification Due to hardware and software limitations, eVic cannot reach 15W. So we modified the range to 2-11W. And the range will change depend on the resistance. e.g. , when you use 2.1?, the range will be 4.2W-11W. www.joyetech.com/support/down_nr.php?id=41
