what other devices do you have? I spent a month considering this device ... I absolutely love it ... but you have to accept a few limitations ... cons battery life and voltage drop (mitigated by the fact a battery box can take 4x16430 batteries price you need a low res atty pro's best button I've ever used its tiny - a spheroid pretty much doubles the length of it - great for stealth built like a brick sh1thouse and has a lifetime warranty with an ego adaptor you can fit pretty much any atty on it although it may look weird I use it with a spheroid, vision eternity, evod, mini nova. Others will fit but slimmer looks better. I can't advise you since it's imho a niche device and pricey ... I bought it for myself as a 1st year vaping anniversary present ... I will say I do love it to bits and it's always in my pocket. If money isn't a factor, go for it ... if it is, get something else. PS: The device isn't as shiney as the pictures show ... www.greatlakevapors.com is the website. I've spoken to them ... lovely people

You need to buy this it`s a must buy and remember as you press buy now and pay "You need this" it will change your life for the better! If you don`t buy this ****TODAY**** your life will become meaningless and empty and its only £99 and you would have only spent the money on something else that would not have made your life better and more complete.

Beeman - you are not helping Tease-smiley Ash - thanks. It would be an out and about, stick it in the pocket device. The limitations wouldn't be an issue Which one do you have - polished, black, coloured...?

To me, it looks like something you'd buy in a Sex Shop!

I have the polished one ... I need to give it a good clean an polish soon, its looking a bit mucky. I do find it's hard to match finishes with this since its polished aluminium... this is it with a brushed spheroid ... note, this is with a 510 to 510 adaptor which is handy for clearing the button. However I've found that an ego adaptor and a plinth makes it look a lot better this is it with a polished spheroid and an evod and 10ml bottle for comparison ... apologies for photo flash this is using the ego adaptor and plinth. That combo is quite handy since you can spin the plinth to adjust airflow. You will find you may wear a groove into the plastic button over time with some devices if they catch. As you can see it's very close but on mine doesn't touch. Last thing ... the 510 connector is adjustable from the bottom with an allen key. Access is protected with a plastic gromit. Mine broke but I might have been unlucky. The flow control may over time unthread and fall out. So to block it, I screwed a connector from a dead carto into place. I suppose I could have contacted the vendor but I was quite happy with the solution.

well, yes ...
It is without a doubt a luxury item given the price so you need to ask yourself what hole it will fill. For 100 quid you can get a lot of stuff and more versatile devices - ultimately this like everything else is a battery holder.
Take your time in deciding is my advice.
(trying to be objective - I do love mine and you can see todd's review here ... )

So basically its the same as a mini gripper at only 10x the cost? Yes but not quite - it's all relative. The mini gripper is made of 2 ABS plastic molds that are glued together and this is made of aircraft aluminium with a military grade detonator switch on top of it plus a lifetime warranty The adaptors for the mini-gripper are like rocking horse sh1t to get hold of whist I've pretty much been able to fit anything on top of the GLV. I own both by the way and like them both. I'd suggest this is a vamo vs provari style debate. If anyone knows my luck and tastes, they will know I like devices that I might be able to repair myself and that I generally drop and break stuff. The GLV has a cult following in the US and there is a story of a construction worker dropping his from a 2 storey building and it still firing. Depends on what your budget is / what your use is. Fingers crossed, the GLV will last me throughout any Zombie Apocalypse.

I also have a mini gripper and yes, as far as functionality is concerned they are to all intents and purposes identical. As Ash says, it's a Vamo vs Provari type thing. And I'm a sucker for luxury items and over-engineered stuff
