Hi my hotmail account has been highjacked
Please be aware someone is hacking into our accounts.
I have been in touch with Microsoft security centre, who advise me initially to set up new hotmail.
I think chris was right, it might possible have come through our forum, as this is also my main source of hotmail usage these past 5 months.
Please be vigilant.

Update: Microsoft confirmed someone tried to hack into my account and they (Microsoft) blocked my account until they could remove the `hack`. I have had to register a new password to allow access to hotmail. They advised me not to let the browser program used to `remember this password` feature. Be vigilant people.

Hotmail has to be one of the most insecure email systems on the planet. It won't be the forum that's infected.
Hotmail is too easy to "hack" which is why I only ever used it when I had an Xbox 360 because you have too but even then in 5 years of having owned one it was never hacked.
Its always best to use an email address tied with your internet provider as they seem to be the most secure. Gmail is good too.

If you don't keep contacts in hotmail, the spam generator fails. Reset Hotmail password Delete contacts System is now useless to spambot. Good luck I
