As some of you may recall, I've been playing with flavourless juice just recently to find something that is easy to stealth-vape, as I find many people can smell me vaping when I use flavoured juice, especially sweet/pudding flavours.
Some who have tried it say it is 'rank', whilst others say they have used it as an all-day vape. My first trial of flavourless was very positive, yet a later attempt has not been so successful. I wanted to know why this variation - and have come to a positive and informative conclusion.
It has to do with the vaping 'history' of the PV...
If the system has already had flavoured juice through it then, when you vape flavourless through it, I have found that you get significant undertones of the previous flavours, even after several clearo refills of flavourless. For instance, I had a clearo that had caramel, mint, then ametetto through it, and I could taste them all, even after 4 clearo refills of flavourless. I was told, however, that the vapour was virtually odourless.
When I changed the clearo head to a new one however, the experience was quite different. The flavour was quite bland, and can best be described as 'freshly laundered/ironed linen', with a faintly sweet aftertaste - not unpleasant, but not very inspiring.
So this goes to show how juice flavours can be significantly influenced by previous juices for some long time - something I had not seriously considered before.
It also shows that the occasional use of flavourless (for stealth reasons) in a previously used clearo can be quite acceptable.

Ive just made some 100% pure VG no Flavor, no Nic and i can still taste the menthol that was in the clearo before. Thats after i washed it and dry burned it, so Menthol has a very long lasting after taste. Beware

I am surprised that you are surprised you can taste previously used flavours theblackarrow, just how do you "make" a 100% VG mix? I can't find the recipe anywhere
