There is a fundimental difference in the meanings of words.
We, as vapers, say that because we are vaping then we have quit smoking.
The anti smoking brigade say that because we are vaping, then we are still smoking.
So no matter what is said on each side, there is always going to be confusion as to who is doing what.
This was evident in that program the same way as is evident in our MEP letters and will no doubt confuse the Directive at Brussels.

This was evident in that program the same way as is evident in our MEP letters and will no doubt confuse the Directive at Brussels. This is true. Sadly (for us) some people use the fact that we are no longer smoking tobacco but consume nicotine as a good reason to shorten our lives by banning nicotine liquid, forcing us to either quit or die prematurely. You couldn't make it up; For the first time in 500 years, there is an alternative, but the goody-goody zealots of this world are not happy with us doing what we're doing. They can't see past their own noses to view the big picture. Either that, or there is a conspiracy of epic proportions going on that say "if these people can't stop smoking, let them suffer the consequences". I wouldn't take that viewpoint on anything, not even hard drug users and people who commit crime to feed their addictions. We bought a product that was legal and available, and yet even hard-core addicts are helped by society. Our "help" is here - now - today, in the form of vaping and what will they do? Everything to stop us, it seems. I just don't get it.
