Ah America. A nation born of revolution, home of the brave, and land of the free, that has the worlds highest percentage of population incarcerated, practice state sponsored revenge killing with a rabid enthusiasm, make your ears bleed with their continual espousal of freedom of speech, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, government for the people by the people. And then they go and do something like this.

A very interesting program not only the comments for e-cigs by those who know what they are talking about, but equally the comments from those who don't know what they are talking about, but are in positions where they can influence the politicians who can ban the use of e-cigs in public places.
These are the people that we should be educating, however, I doubt if we ever will be able to educate enough of them in time.

I think that most of the problem lies with the anti smoking lobby have spent the best part of three decades blaming nicotine as addictive, the total cause of all smoking related illness and therefore totally evil and the menace to be eradicated, that the fact that it is the smoke, tar and chemical additives to tobacco are the harmful ingredients is totally lost on people, smokers themselves included, that as soon as someone says that they can get their nicotine in a safe way the ANTIZ's throw their hands up in the air and start screaming.
So much for me keeping quiet.

Please remember though that this debate was about "banning the use of e-cigs in public places where smoking is banned anyway". The fact that other comments were made during the debate was just extras. It is an unfortune fact of life that the majority of media coverage on vaping is aimed at cig-a-likes and laws concerning e-cigs will, primarily be based on the use or otherwise of these cig-a-likes. The fact that we use devices that look nothing like a cig-a-like is not going to make one whit of difference and at the end of the day we are all going to be tarred with the same brush.

Bloody good video to be fair. And you only have to look at the comments to see that there is 99%+ people highlight the all too common train of thought that the 'banning brigade' are spouting which is typically based on: Uninformed, opinionated, Biased, Straw clutching, Big Pharma/Tobac Company sponsored IDIOTS who tend to shoot themselves in the foot as soon as they open their mouths.
As time goes on and more studies PROVE that vaping is better than SMOKING in health terms, they will simply have no more shite to spout.
Then when the dust settles, there will just be the drive to add duty to the juice to replace the duty being lost on dropped tobacco sales.

One comment that was made during that program that I found most telling was the fact that now that most of the bans by state politicians have beed thrown out of court, the National Government is trying to push through a Law stating the e-cigs are a Tobacco Related Product. Once this happens, then we can forget about buying Nic Base from the USA.

Watching it....enjoying....
The guy doing the interview is great....he's really pushing the anti representatives.
What is bonkers is the 2nd person (the lady, Cynthia) again coming out with the old chestnuts "we don't know what's in them" and "there is no evidence that they help people quit". I still don't get the "no evidence" argument. No scientific study, OK, but there's plenty of evidence that people have quit smoking.
