Ah well the mighty ZMAX has bitten the dust.It keeps throwing wobblies,so have resorted to the Seigelei ZMAX.A good reason why you need a back up device as i wont get my SVD untill next week!

My vamo is being an arse at the moment. Its actually the batteries but if I stretch the spring any more then it will be a paper clip!

I keep getting odd display images and it changes the voltage as it sees fit,so i think its dead.Still it served me well despite being dropped loads of times.

Have you tried replacing the spring?

What batteries are you using spikey?......You shouldn't need to stretch the spring. Is it theoriginal spring that came with it?.......If so, you need a hot spring
