Recently bought an ultrasonic cleaner & just got round to trying it out tonight. I kind of thoiught my GGTS wasn't working as well as it used to after 2 plus years of every day use - it's now vaping like new So if anyone has a purely mechanical mod, I'd highly recommend investing in an ultrasonic cleaner

No, never bothered with a kick, Blue. I've got a very early version GGTS & I think, from what I've read, that resistance with the early versions is far better than the later ones.

Last week I also used my ultrasonic cleaner for the first time.
I put all my clearos and tanks through it, having stripped them all down first of all.
Everything came out as new. Cleaned the wicks as well. I was amazed.
I had put just a couple of drops of washing up liquid in along with two steredent tablets. This is now something I will be doing every other month from now on.

Use it for my atty's too with a couple drops of fairy & milton.

Lobey I just put in a couple of drops of washing up liquid, but will definitely try steridents tablets next time Lenny, I got my Ultrasonic cleaner from Aldi, paid about £15.00 for it - it's one that you can fill with just plain water & will clean all sorts of things - jewellery, watches, CD's etc.

Everything vaping related gets chucked in there, mech mods, tanks, atty's, spare heads, juice bottles, syringes, pipettes etc etc

They're the only thing I've found so far that can make a brown ceramic white again. I'd agree, they're well worth getting for cleaning alone, the steeping aspect for me is now just a bonus.

Hi Chrissie, The only reason I used the Sterident Tablets was because we had some and I didn't have anything else.
I made sure the tablets were disolved before I put everything into the cleaner.

FlavourartsUK do a flavouring called "Golden Rollie" . . . Of course it does not replicate smoking but its a decent vape....Its what I'm vaping this very minute actually...

I bought one from Maplins about 2 months or so ago for £29.99 and then 2 days later Aldi were knocking them out for £19.99 for the same one, just a different badge on it I use about 2mls of Milton in mine and a couple of drops of washing up liquid in warm water, works a treat. I rinse them afterwards mind you.
