Hi to everyone and thanks for the help so far. I was smoking about 75g of tobacco a week and decided enough was enough. A few of the lads at work were smoking/trying the E-lite cigs and I thought why not try them, i had tried about 4 years ago to cut down/stop with patches and didn't get any success. I got me a nicolite starter kit and a pack of menthol carts last Sunday and thought to myself maybe this time... I found that I was getting through 2 cartos a day on Sunday and Monday, so I scoured the internet to find out any better/cheaper alternatives. On Tuesday evening I came across this site and found all the helpful advice. I promptly ordered a riva 1100 kit from vapeescape and on Thursday the kit arrived. I had got 30ml of menthol and a 10ml of ry4 in 18mg nic to get me going, straight away i noticed that the higher battery and better flavours had me hooked. Until then I had found the cravings were still there and was tempted to go back to the rollies. I started with the cartos as i was a bit unsure of the clearomiser, but have since started using the clearomiser more. I will need to order some more with all the orders I have placed for various flavors lol.. I have not smoked since last Sunday and cant believe that the Riva E Cig has worked so well. I would like to say it a big THANK YOU!! to all the members on here who have posted there advice, I feel that without your advice and just sticking with the basic e cigs i would be back smoking again.

Cannon - brilliant! It's exactly this type of story that we need. I bet all the e-lites are from Merry Hill shopping centre of something?! I tried quitting with mini e-cigs and was using 2 carto's a day @ £7.99 ....until I was rescued firstly by swapping brands (to £3 a day or so) and then finding this forum, thanks to Chrissie. I would have spent £2,900 a year on E-Lites if it weren't for the internet. I have a lot of e-cig kit now and really enjoy vaping. It's coming to an end...I suspect... but what a journey....

Thanks for all the support folks. I will deffo look into getting some rebuildable clearos, I have been looking but am a bit confused by all the different sorts and what will fit with all the ce 2 ce 3 ce 4 etc. I have been looking at the vivi nova as it holds 2,5ml which would suit me better if at work (saving time filling up). Also would I be able to store the clearos/tanks with liquid in them short term without leaking? by having a few made up with various flavours in. Or would I be better sticking to the cartos and filling and disposing of as required. Sorry for all the questions..

The mini vivi novas would be a good choice and yes you should be able to store liquid in them short term without leaking! If your happy with cartos, these might interest you, basically a huge carto www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-echomisers~197
