I have been vaping for just over a month. A week ago I bought a Vivi Nova tank (the big one not the Mini). Juice is leaking out of the screw connector on the Nova tank into my LT. I have just figured out why. When I unscrew the tank top (to refuel) the underside of the (metal) top piece grips the silicone cap on the replaceable coil and unscrews it so it is no longer a 'watertight' fit on the central tube. Juice can now leak down the central tube and into my LT..... Replacing the cap after refueling unfortunately does not reverse the process adequately but leaves the coil head still loose on the pillar.
I suppose I could carry a pair of tweezers and tighten up the coil head every time I remove the top, but I wondered if any experienced users know of an alternative fix?
Could anyone recommend an alternative tank to the Vivi Nova (ideally with replaceable coils)? I have had juice seeping out of the join between the tank body and base also - so I'm a little unimpressed with the Nova at present! My vaping device is a stainless steel mini Lavatube (from Apollo) with a 510 thread and I have an egothread adapter for it too. At the moment I've gone back to a 'CE4 Clearomiser' which gives less vapour and taste but does not leak....
I would be grateful for your thoughts/opinions.

I don't normally advocate tightening up any of our gear Smokey . . . but I had similar problems to you with the head unscrewing every time I filled my Nova's up. I've found that by screwing it down just that wee bit more firmly has cured that.
Interestingly it's a not a problem I've had with any of the ones with a viewing window as the top cap seems to sit that bit higher up.

vivi novas are good , but you can if your unlucky buy one that leaks I always give the head a little tweak with a screw driver to tighten the head down when new or when head has been replaced, I do like the evod not had one leak yet, and they give loads of vape, rebuildable too

Haven't had that problem oldsmokey? Do you still have the clear O ring on the head or could it be damaged?
Edit due to not reading the rubbish I just wrote

I don't know if this helps, but I have occasionally had problems with the atomiser head loosening on mini novas. (When taking off the top to refill)
What I do is take off the plastic/silicone cap and run a mini screwdriver shaft through the wick "gap" and give it a gentle tweak tight. Never failed me yet, and I don't do it very tight, just enough to ensure it won't self-loosen. If you do this whilst the Nova is dismantled, it fixes it. I can't be easy to do this if fully constructed...i.e. before or after topping up.

Yes I will try tightening the coil head up a bit more and that may do the trick. I had read somewhere that you should avoid overtightening them as it would cause a short, but I have been told that my Lavatube is protected against shorts - so I'll give it a go!

It's not advisable to overtighten anything really Smokey . . . I wouldn't say I've done that as the heads are still easy enough to unscrew/replace. I've just been a little firmer with screwing it down than I normally do with gear. Has worked for me.

Mostly, I use random things on my Lavatube, not Novas etc. I've been tightening my Nova heads gently with a screwdriver down the wick channels for 6 months + and not had any problems. Go for it.
