Actually I hate to disillusion you but it ain't as sorted as you may think!!!!

You see, once you get yours up and running, you will be so pleased with it that you will want another and then you are back to the Spheroid hunt once again!!!!

I have two and am on the hunt for a third.

So after a month of learning to re wick, i'm now worse than when I started! Love the taste of my new spheroid, cant rewick it to save my life!!!

MP 2012.

Remember the wick goes diagonally between the posts and raised above air hole by 1-2mm.

I use single lasso wick of 3mm silica.

Keep practicing, it`s so worth it when you get it right.

We users ought to start an "Oid Club Section"

I do the wick in a loop and then wrap the coil around both ends and the middle of the loop so that the wick looks like a figure of 8.
This way the wick in the coil has 3 bits of wick.
I do not cut it but leave the loops so that it is these that touch the blue foam.
This makes it easier to reposition after refilling the foam and it also means that 4 lengths of wick are feeding 3 pieces of wick in the coil.

Edited to add;- When you make the initial loop, overlap the ends so that they lie together as 2 pieces. Then when you start to wind on the coil, bring the centre of the loop down to join the two ends, thus forming the fig of 8.

Aaah, but I also have a Taifun which is of a similar setup and is my go to at home.

I likely will want another roid at some point right enough.
