A brief explanation of what is going through your mind would probably help us give an answer to your question methinks

It's a similar idea to what SvoeMesto call the Sticker

I was really just looking for other people's first impressions. If that picture wasn't enough, then perhaps a little explanation. It is a Vamo that's been due chromed, so showing its copper, then chopped in half and the battery tube moved sideways and brazed back on. . Another pic perhaps.

I like it! there are a couple of different versions of the basic tube about I have noticed, one seems to have a softer brass? if that is possible. I did this one a couple of weeks ago. Cat wasn`t impressed though I "went through" the copper plate on the top bit, it seemed to be a lot thinner at the back of the tube, so took all the copper off and went with that.

I've only stripped one so far and that was bright chrome, I do have a black one that has A different inside to the battery cap, I wonder if that was part of the V1/2 changes.
It's interesting to see how simply they are assembled when you get them apart, just keep an Eye on the small buttons, they have a mind of their own.

I'm also interested to see how they tarnish as copper, if its being handled all the time, develops a lovely patina quite quickly.

I don't like it personally, I can see it being a bit of a handful. I like your other work but not this I'm afraid. I know some would like it though just like robby does but he's different too just like this mod lol

Hmm how about a top bridge section to give it a better look ( and strength ) I was going to fit a top brace, but after the struggle I had trying to rectify a slight twist when I brazed on the llower fittings I decided it was strong enough without. But the next few days will tell me if that was a mistake.

Especially when in 18350 mode. TBH I'm still learning how to use it, just like any other bit of kit I've collected recently. one thing I have found is it is so much more stable on a flat surface, tempted to add a second battery tube, and make it into a stool!
