The 3rd London & South East Meet 4/5/13

Hi Guys. Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone for a great evening (and to Ash in particular for inviting me). It was my first pub vape meet, but it certainly won't be my last. I'm terrible at remembering names and have no chance of reconciling them with forum names, but I think it was Chris/chrisss (?) that gave me a Kanger MT3. Whoever it was, thanks. I'm using it as I type this.

I got a few pictures and will post a link when I've had a chance to process them. It'll have to wait until after the snooker, though.

Well, what another fantastic night! Huge thanks to Alan for arranging the meeting. Those two London Bridge venues are much better than trying to fight the crowds in Soho on a busy Saturday night. Sorry I missed you as I did my rounds saying goodnight Alan, not sure where you were but thanks again.

It was great to catch up with the MixMeister (@ashmal) to taste some of his wares and the ModFather (blakey) with his delicious shinys on display and his valuable advice. chrisjw is always a delight and it was good to spend a bit more time with giles and chrisss than I'd managed at previous meets. It was lovely to see elfish and her friend Lindsay getting excited with their lips around my kit (no - they were tasting e-liquid from my dripping atties you smutty lot).

esmecullen honoured us by choosing to spend her birthday night with us and it's always sad that her last train is so early. It was also a great shame that Dolly, Beautycat, Julie and Jo (darkginger) couldn't make it. We were saying last night that one of the things that makes AAEC such a superior forum is the girls - it's not all blokey and techie. I've been to three meets just hoping to meet BC... maybe next time!

This forum has led to some genuine friendships with some very genuine people and I for one am looking forward already to the next meet.

sounds like you guys had some fun will keep an eye out for the next meet as i could be in london for long weekend in july if some thing is going down i might be able to work it in

reason being glasses in Portugal start at around 400 euro i can fly in hit spec savers and fly back out with 2 pair for less

Hello Everyone

It was a great night, thanks to Alan/Ash for organising it. It was great venue that isn't too busy - apart from some rowdy football fans

I wish I had recorded the moment when alanfinal picked his own name in the raffle, that was a Classic! He ended up putting his name back and picking again

I hope that everyone had a good time and I can't wait for the next meet!

Aww thanks Steve. Believe me, I was gutted to miss it last night. I had even bought a lovely big birthday cake for Esme which Julie had offered to chip in for. I didn't know what to do with it this morning, so grandkids lucked and had some. So, so sorry Esme
I agree with you Steve, that sometimes these things can be a bit too blokey and turn into a boys club which excludes the girls. I am sure I speak for all the girls in saying how nice it is to feel included and not pushed out.
Roll on the next one. If my GD plays up next time, I shall just lock her in the garden shed till I get home.

Isn't 6 weeks from May 4th mid June?

Steve is right Wilf. The next one is in June. Don't think the date is set yet is it?
