Parking in York City

I am heading to York at about 5pm Saturday and will be staying the night and leaving sunday.
The place we are staying at does not have parking.

Does anyone know the cheapest place i can park overnight?

Ive looked about but cant really find much. Someone has suggest try find a street where you pay for parking until 6pm then its free afterwards and free on Sunday.

But i can't find anywhere:(

Anyone know where i can park?

there is a big car park on nunnery lane..pay and display as for the park and rides i dont know. Try these links if they r no good let me know and i will keep looking

I'd be tempted to get the train, then you won't have to worry about leaving your car somewhere you're not familiar with and won't have to worry about driving home with a hangover the day after!

5 of us going so would cost over £100 in train fares so way cheaper to drive and pay for parking.
From the link you posted skyjay i think im going to park on Priory Street.

6pm - midnight is £2 and then there is no charges until 1pm on Sunday

Parker on Priory street, got there at 5pm cost me £4.00 to park until 1300 on the Sunday, cant complain at that:)
