Cleaning and maintaining EVOD's

After having a couple of MT3 clearo's fail on me over the last couple of days i am now determined to take top care of the EVOD clearo's i have.

What i would like to know is how often i should be cleaning these things and what is the best method. Should i be dry burning them or just cleaning them in hot soapy water?

Isn't that odd. I've just come upstairs to the attic/vaporium and taken apart an evod for the 1st time.

I took out the base, unscrewed the atomiser unit and rinsed it all under a hot tap. (I left the tank bit upside down on the desk). Pulled out the ridged tube (pliers...), lifted out the extra wicks and dry-burned the coil.

It's back together and I'm vaping until the flavour returns. 10 puffs so far.....not great (water!!)......lots of vapour with the clean(er) coil......(more water, probably....) 15 puffs.....back to life.

I'll report back.

I normally take it all apart and put it all in Isopropyl and leave for 2-3hrs then dry all parts with tissue and put some tissue on top of a radiator and then put the Evod parts on the tissue and leave overnight for the Isopropyl to completely evaporate.

That's why it's best to have more than one head so you can use the other head whilst the other one is cleaning overnight.
