Hi All My wife decided to give my riva 1100 a go today, she has managed the whole day without a stinky, but says she feels very nauseous now, in a motion sickness way rather than food poisoning- we're on holiday in Thailand btw. Normally she smokes camel lights, which are 0.8mg, today she was using my e-liquid which is 20mg. I don't know enough about the differences between how stinkies are measured in nicotine strength compared to e-liquid, but obviously the liquid is stronger than what she's used to? I'm about to google nausea/e-liquid, but wanted to post here for any possible advice as well? regards Jake

Hi Jake Too much nicotine. I used to smoke "light" stinkies and 20mg would be too strong for me. I'm happier at half that. Happy holidays!

I used 20mg to stop, and have evened out on 12/18 and make homemade to about 15mg. Even coming from 1.2mg cig's I got a lot of symptoms of overdoing it.

Also, don't forget that vaping dehydrates you more than smoking. That couples with the fact you're in a hot climate means she needs to be drinking LOTS

Any idea how long the nausea might last? She's lying down and has had a litre of water, but we have a table booked at a posh restaurant so could do with leaving in an hour...I'll take the kids out for an hour and let her rest.

That would be 16mg over a day then. It's hard to say for sure (we don't know, I don't know) but I find it endlessly co-incidental that quite a lot of vapers seems to level out on the same number of mg liquid as the amount of total nicotine they smoked. I took in about 20mg a day on ciggies. 16mg juice never did it for me early on and 24mg was too much.... it would make an interesting study....

Hi jake could be overdoing it on nicotine maybe try a lower strength. Also i found drinking more helps,i think vaping can dry you out a bit untill your body gets used to it,tell your wife to drink a little water while vaping.Hope this helps mate enjoy the holiday

All the above.... plus she could have picked up a bug too.
Hot climate, Dehydrated, High nicotine. All could cause nausea, i'm guessing it's a combination of all, half a clearo of 20mg is enough to make you feel a little ill for a while but not seriously and should pass pretty quickly (within the hour maybe).
