Non smoker?

My wife went to the well woman clinic and told them she had been vaping since Nov 2012 and had not had a stinky since.They praised her and said they can now put her down as a non smoker without any lung function tests.Is there a time limit when you are classed as a non smoker as it seems such a short time.

I still consider myself as quitting. But maybe in a month or so will say I am an ex-smoker.

I suppose the question to be asked is "do you smoke?".
If you answer "no", or "no I vape", then technically, you are a non-smoker?

Not to the insurance industry. Any nicotine product makes you a smoker to them.

It's a grey area--- we have a transport account in the local hospital. The response I usually get from the doctors there is. WTF is it to "I dunno"

I have vaped zero nic for last few days so how long into vaping zero do they consider you a non smoker. Do you know

Says on the forms, have you used any nicotine products in the last 12 months, so a year i would guess.
