Hi all, on my 7th day of e cigs.

I was introduced to vaping by a friend, tried hers and thought yup I can do that so I ordered a kyngo same as she had and some e juice.

Anyway I don't know if I bought low strength but I didn't get enough throat hit so I gave up and have been using 10motives menthol from tescos.

I want to use the kyngo tho as this 10motive rechargeable is crap battery and I'm going through a cartridge a day which is going to work out expensive.

I think I'm right in thinking that the cartridges I'm using at the mo are 16mg but the e juice I have is only 12mg so is that why I didn't get enough hit? Or is it because I only ordered fruit flavour juice?

OK, some thoughts. I suspect that this Kyngo battery is a standard ego-clone-type. (I've seen them before, but not the eXhale ones). It may not be that powerful; my personal "worry" about all these types are they might only be 3.3 volts. As none of the retailers that deal in this type of thing seem to consider revealing the power of the battery as important, I can only guess. However, I do know that if was to put a medium resistance clearomiser (like the included ones) on a 3.3v battery, the results would not be that great.
I have a joyetech 3.3v battery and putting a 2.4 resistance clearo on it will produce vapour, but it'd be less than satisfactory, for my tastes, anyway. Some e-liquids don't offer much "hit", I can probably say 1/2 of mine are like vaping nice flavoured air with a taste of whatever.
Have you tried the 10motive refills on the Kyngo battery? That might work, but you'll find that there won't be much vapour - as the secret weapon in the cartomisers of all these look-a-likes is to use a high resistance coils to make the juice go further.

Oh, one more thing. Decent Menthol juice is one of the best for feeling it go in (hit) and if you are finding 10motives menthol a bit better in this regard, that could have something to do with it.

My main vape is menthol at about 8 watts. There's so much vapour and it really hits, I tell you. You won't get this off a look-a-like, but you CAN on a Kyngo, but you might need a lower resistance cartomiser/clearomiser.

I am sorry to hear the 10motives don't fit. I fear they have dropped 510 connections, or does the Kyngo not have a small thread connection inside the big thread?

It sounds to me that the menthol e-liquid is working for you. If you buy some e-liquid you can probably fill the motives carts up a few times to get more use out of them! Also sounds like you need slightly stronger e-juice, probably about 18mg strength.

grab some 18 mg liquid try some of our vendors in the vendor board for some samples vapescape for instance does 5ml bottles at 18mg

you just unscrew the tip pour in your juice and vape (nice and simple for someone starting out)

My mistake djs they do fit but when I inhale it does nothing at all, tried it on both batteries too.

Will try some 18mg menthol in it and see if the problem was I just didn't like the liquid I bought. Thank you!
