What will the future hold for PV development

There are two developements that I want to see.

First an out and about PV that is the size of the 20 fag packet but everything inside, including the drip tip. IE, no sticky out bits or bits that you have to carry seperately and screw on.
A button on the side will release a spring loaded cart and mouth piece which pops out for you to vape.
When finished, you push it back inside and it clicks into place. Preferably this will also have a built in tank.

The second PV is for home use.
It sits on the desk, permanently plugged to the mains and it contains say 10 different e-juices.
By simply pressing a button, you get whatever e-juice is assosiated with that button.
The drip tip/mouthpiece is attached to the unit by a flexible tube.

Like the tube system where they pop your order in a capsule, it zooms along the tubes and arrives at your house then you just send the empty capsule back :-) Or even better, they teleport it into your house like on Star Trek :-) No more waititng for the postman :-)

You have more patience than me then Toondog. I order something and I want it now! I hate the postman turning up with nothing but bills/boring letters when i'm waiting for something to arrive.

Now that we have an 8 legged, 2 mouthed, fur covered doorbell, I am not the only one that spends half the morning waiting with anticipation for the Postman!!!!!

Oh, I like that! A lot!! you could buy a green Fruity one, or a Rust Brown one for 5 Tobacco flavours, or a light blue Minty Menthol. Not to mention the alluring orange yellow GVC one - but that would have to be the size of a jumbo marker pen!

Really I would like to see the e cig market remain affordable when all the propose regulations come in, but I fear a hefty price increase and with the development in pv technology, I will be priced out the market to buy anything new

Not so sure about the flyng postman bit but it does make sense to ensure that you have a few backup devices in case this eventually doesn't go the way we are hoping

Surely the devices themselves will be OK? Much like you can buy mary jane smoking equipment legally, but not the mary jane itself. Isn't it the juices that will be regulated if and when dumb legislation happens?

I love the multi-juice PV idea For me, better battery life, non-gurgling, non-leaking tanks/clearos and faster charging would be good for now!

Ecigs have 3 basic components which are all interrelated. Changes to one will impact the other.

heating coil
delivery system
battery

Add into that the actual medium, i.e. juice.

Assuming juice doesn't change, we are already seeing different coil systems emerging with things like ceramic wicks. A shift in technology here would result in an alternative heating mechanism which will result in a different delivery system and battery (real innovation would mean less power required, thereby reducing the size of the battery and overall size of device). This will be the most fundamental change.

Changes in delivery systems result in changes to the coils positioning but ultimately they still currently rely on the coil system we know.

Battery technology is developing continually - restrictions will be safety and voltage/amp delivery when related to the coil system. The best we can hope for is alternative battery composition which delivers higher output at safer levels. Batteries and coil systems are probably the most related out of the three.

Most technology can't develop without advances in another ... DNA decoding wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for computing advancement. The next stage in computing is to make them process like a human brain.

If juice changes, what are the alternatives? Oil ... that would change the coil ... resin cubes?

Convergence could be the most immediate shift. Provided we go mainstream and aren't banned this would be a next step and we've already seen this. With the amount of Chinese devices and their love of gadgets, I want to see an Android phone with a 510 connector. Phone, mp3 player and eVic style puff counter all in one.

I've been waiting for teleportation to become a reality since the 80's that and hover boots and I'd be happy (not too much to ask is it?)

ummm what else...I'd like the Chinese to get their VV/VW menu systems designed by someone with a better grasp of the English Language

high mah, long lasting batteries the size of a mini ego would be quite nice too for my evods.
