Tried it once and unfortunately didn't like it. Lot of hype around GVC always has been and some people seem to genuinely love it but it's seriously over priced and under produced. Supply and demand.

When I'm fannying about building for drippers and whatnot I retire to the kitchen where the extractor hood sits smack bang in the middle of the room above the hob. Turn it up to eleven spinal tap style and you wouldn't even know I'd been there ????

Why thank you! Im off work and everything looking forward to a fun packed day, I've got the Koopor mini in my pocket and some Belgian chocolate in the subtank. (Despite the Koopor update shenanigans I'm mighty impressed with it) Mmmmmmmmmm Thanks again Chris.

Oh and "Young is our attitude" "Koopor is young" yeah great work guys when the gateway theory is currently being used as one of the biggest hammers to batter vaping with! Dicks.

Just took delivery of the Koopor mini, to be fair, I like it ,the form factor , build quality and it functions very well........ HOWEVER! The Koopor mini was sold with the promise that you could update the firmware, yes YOU! This as it happens turns out to be b@ll@cks ! If you wish to update your Koopor mini to use stainless steel (which they haven't released yet but promised as an update) or any other update whatsoever you have to send your unit to an authorised dealer at your cost and cover any expenses charged by the dealer!!!!!!!! The reason?
"To upgrade KOOPOR Mini firmware, we have to use special tools.Considering the tool costs, we decide to send them to our wholesalers and vendors who will provide a free upgrading service for local customers. Later, we will list their contact information when they are available. If you are interested in upgrading, please contact the authorized wholesalers or vendors in your country. The firmware upgrading service is free, but shipping fee and other costs generated during this process are in your charge."
WTF?!? "Special tools? A USB to Micro USB lead??????? Absolute horsesh@t if I've ever heard it.
Their "community" page is end to end complaints from people who feel ripped off. Oh and by the way the community is now mysteriously closed and you can no longer post on it. Convenient.
What the hell did they think they were doing? Clearly advertised as updatable via the micro USB port with SS support coming soon then this?!?!
Smok is the parent company of Koopor and you can update their mods via USB, it's the same chip for christs sake, even the menus are identical. I've a feeling smok have set up Koopor to "beta test products" without harming their own image or using their own testers. Lo and behold....... Smok have just released a box mod using the same chip that rides up to 70watts and does SS temp controll. Coincidence? My @rse
I like the mod, it works well, looks good too but it really sticks in my throat that I have deliberately been mislead and used as a free beta tester for smok!!!! Thoughts anyone?

Hate dry hits! That's why I've gone over to temp control. I remember if you forgot to swish your vivi nova around after it had sat a while ............ Minging! Vaping has come such a long way in such a short time. I often think back to when I started with a green smoke cigalike, God that was awful, £70 quid an all! Bought it when I was working in New York in 2010 nearly ended my vaping career before it started! In fact it did, I didn't try again until 2012.

Hi all, I had a play with a Koopor mini in a shop the other day and loved the look and feel of it. They wanted £50! So I had a mooch around online and found a UK site that will do it delivered for £26.99 Here's the code you need to select pay by card create an account or what have you to reach the page for the code but will still get the PayPal option at the end, if you just click checkout with pay pal at the start you won't find the code box. The code is "Code328T" the word code is part of the code. That gets you 10% off plus Select free delivery (all orders over £25.00) Here's the link www.simplyeliquid.co.uk/electronic-cigarette-kits/smok-koopor-mini-60w-e-cig-kit/smok-koopor-mini-60w-e-cig-kitThere's only a few left so I'd be quick. Mine's been dispatched this morning. The one I had a play with was one of the best made mods I've seen for ages. TC too and beautiful. Chris

The mini doesn't do step down only step up so what that means is even though the screen is showing you 2.2 volts it's actually delivering the nominal charge that the battery has which for a fresh battery could be as high as 4.2 volts (even though the screen says 2.2 yeah?) 4.2 volts on a .5 ohm coil is way over 30watts of power. To see what I mean vape it with that coil at 8 watts then at 20watts and then 25watts, you won't notice any difference in the vape because it's actually giving you over 30watts no matter what the screen says as the mini can't actually reduce the battery output to 2.2 volts. It can only increase the nominal output of the battery. does that help? Chris (If you had a 1.8 or 2.2 ohm coil on it would require somewhere around 4 plus volts to deliver say 10 watts so if you set it to ten watts you'd actually get 10watts) hmmm...interesting.... will have to play more... there's a definite difference between 8w and 12/13w, but that is admittedly with a half-charged battery... will have to try the tank on a different mod It's no big deal or indeed unusual the IPV D2 TC mod doesn't step down in power mode for example. It was only a problem for me as I bought it for stealth and .5 ohms at 30 watts would be pretty hard to hide on a train! If you look in your instructions or on cloupors site you'll see the minimum output voltage is 3.6 volts. It will never let you vape lower than that which is not a problem for you unless you want to combine sub ohm coils with low watts. Still a great mini mod. If I'm explaining it really poorly then have a bit Google, lots of stuff probably better written on the subject. Chris.

Or perhaps the vamo doesn't step down?
Chris
(As in isn't capable of reducing the nominal voltage of the battery like the clouper mini for example so even though it shows you seven watts it's actually delivering the batteries nominal voltage 3.7 ish volts so your really vaping at 20 plus watts no matter what the vamo screen tells you )

However! I now realise that it doesn't step down and I build my subtanks at .5ohms so literally have to vape at 30 watts (or more ?1?) all of the time. I don't get this - I've got a 0.5 ohm sat on my cloupor mini right now, it'll go down to 8watts (at 2.2 volts showing on the screen). I'm not really a sub-ohmer, it's just the stock coil that came with the ksd vamo one tank (liked it coz it's dinky, 52mm tall inc the drip tip) - I did get a pack of higher res coils with it but not used one yet, the 0.5 is going grand..... why are you having to go to 30W?? The mini doesn't do step down only step up so what that means is even though the screen is showing you 2.2 volts it's actually delivering the nominal charge that the battery has which for a fresh battery could be as high as 4.2 volts (even though the screen says 2.2 yeah?) 4.2 volts on a .5 ohm coil is way over 30watts of power.
