HHi have a nitecore i4 charger on order, which I bought for the 18650 batteries in my Provari. Now I have got a Provari mini and I wanted to keep it small, so went for 4 18350 batteries for it. I've been looking for advice on best practice for charging batteries and wondered if I can charge 18350 and 18650 batteries at the same time? any other advice on good practice re maintaining batteries would be appreciated ! Thanks

Hi Jake. I charge different size batteries together all the time, no problems. I try not to let them discharge below about 3.5 volts before recharging.

Thanks Shouldn't be a problem - I do it all the time on my Nitecore. Apparently, the best way to do it is: - if you are charging two batteries, put them in tracks 1 and 3 (or 2 and 4) - if you are charging different types, then if you can you should put batteries of the same type in 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 What I mean is, if you're charging 2x 350s and 2x 650s, they should go like this: Track 1 - 650 Track 2 - 350 Track 3 - 650 Track 4 - 350

I have this charger, it is great. You can charge whatever mix you want in any combination. But just note that bay`s 1 and 3 share the same circuit and bay`s 2 and 4 share a second circuit. So if charging just 2 batteries, use bay`s 1 and 2 but only because they will charge a little faster. I believe that if you charge using bay`s 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 then by sharing the same circuit, they charge at half the amps which takes longer.

I just got this MSG from the guy who I bought the nitecore off:
"The 18350 batteries have only 700mAh and each charging channel of the Nitecore is using 750mA per channel to charge the batteries, therefore, the 18350's would be damaged.
If you charge two batteries in the same charging channel, the Nitecore only uses 350mA, which is more suitable for the 18350's.
Slot 1 and 3 are charging channel 1 and slot 2 and 4 are charging channel 2."

So for two 18350s I'd use slots 1 +3
