i love gooseberries too , i have 2 big bushes in the garden and they produce huge sweet gooseberries Inhaler....sweet and goosberries just do not go together for me, never ever had a sweet one .

the red ones are sweet but i like the sour ones. chickens are penned now due to fox visiting every day so i now have my garden back
i have to run off this morning and replace garden tools which my neighbours have borrowed and broken... was so not in a good mood last night having discovered that!

I have a red gooseberry that tastes almost exactly like a grape! We love them.

planted them in this morning. watered them in. no frost forecast for the foreseeable. normal way for me. just chuck them in and see how they go..... ... kids are still alive so not too shabby a way i reckon

well... about stevia .... getting some crystals and some seeds so might give it a go! the youngest wants apple trees now but as far as i am concerned, the less to mow the better !
