As maccafan says, they may be in parallel, if that was the case I'd still be up for one.
Theres no rush for me so quite happy to wait until available from UK, and after reviews have been carried out.

Or you may be able to use them with just one battery, either a 18650 or a 18350 which may well be the case if the casing is the ground which it most likely is..
I do not want to discourage anyone..My only intention was to get people thinking about making some enquiries before they buy it..

So, having batteries in parallel is not so dangerous as stacking them on top of each other?

I think we all appreciate your opinions macca, I like the look of this mod, getting a little weary of the tube look! but like you would like to know more before I buy. The body is I think the same as this- www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290503765668 I have a couple, as used in the throathit mod.

This unit comes with Protection against short-circuit. It not so much the stacking of batteries that is a problem because you see them every day in such as torches medical devices etc. the problem is in the make up of different types of batteries. A short circuit normally associated in a battery is normally cause be microscopic metal parts that get inside batteries unless they have damaged or ill treated in any way.

Took me a while to understand that piper, lol, I know that stacking is common with alkaline batt's, but not so sure about Lipo or Li-lon types.

Short circuit protection in the mod will offer no protection against large current flows due to charge imbalance between the two stacked batteries..Look here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/17315/ego-v6-vv Click on the picture placeholders even if the thumbnails are not visible.. The ego-v6 is a short circuit protected mod, which means, if you put an atty which is shorted, it won't fire. So, having batteries in parallel is not so dangerous as stacking them on top of each other? Both configurations can lead to unpleasant consequences.
