So I've got a good New York cheesecake base going now, Capella 20%. I also have some Capella strawberry and cream flavouring. What do the mixing gods suggest as a percentage to use for the strawberry flavouring to make a great strawberry cheesecake juice?

I don't find their Strawberries & Cream overly strong, but if you've already mixed your base to a 20% concentration then I wouldn't go to mad Dicky . . . try the Strawberries at 5% and take it from there?

Cheers perps. I've done the strawberry and cream on its own at 20% and its great. Didn't know weather to drop both to 10 or how it would work.

Yes, I mixed the Strawberries & Cream at 20% as well Dicky . . . if you're starting from scratch with this mix, maybe 12% of the Cheesecake and 8% of the Strawberries to start with.
Depends if you'd like your Cheesecake with just a hint of Strawberry?

12/8 was what I was toying with as well. I have pressure of a work mate wanting to try my mixes and don't want to screw up.

Lol . . . I know that feeling when you're mixing for other people as well Dicky, I made quite a straightforward Apple mix for someone at work the other day, the angst I went through if they would like it or not. For myself I'd have just sloshed the flavouring in and not worried! It was all ok though according to a note left this morning. * Phew * I'm sure yours will be all good as well.

I'm thinking I'll make it to what I like and then tell them to deal with it. Didn't want to waste flavouring knocking it up to 40% with the two. Such a newbie to mixing.

If you over flavour your mix, it can end up tasting a bit ' soapy ' if you're not careful Dicky . . . as you say, make it to suit your tastes and tell your work colleague their taste buds are shot if they don't appreciate your flavouring.

He was the one that got me into ecigs 9 months ago, but he has stayed with a crappy system whilst I ploughed money into it. He has now seen the light and got his first ego set up.

Ah well . . . it would make a nice thank you for him then Dicky, your home brew. Hope your colleague enjoys his new kit, I'm sure he will after 9 months on a cigalike.

He's loving it. He had been smoking and vaping as the cigalike hadn't really been working. He picked up his ego type kit the middle of last week and hasn't smoked since!

Am I doing something wrong? I only like 2% flavouring......my taste buds are shot and it doesn't last long but I like it...too much flavouring and it's disgusting

Depends what flavouring you use really. I have FlavourArt which only needs to be mixed at 5%. Capella however generally requires 15-20%.

If you made up the cheescake at 20% and the Strawberry at 20% you then take 6ml of cheese and 4ml of straw to make 10ml, this will give you the 12/8 ratio at 20%.
