sore throat no good for vaping

I've finnaly become a victim of a rather nasty sore throat which makes vaping very difficult.
I have been vaping my own chocolate and hazelnut blend for about 5 weeks but it's just too harsh to enjoy at the moment.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a very smooth tasting eliquid which shouldn't irritate my throat?

I think my current problem is, my nic base is nearly 100% pg and I think its the pg which hurts my throat.

I find any juice too harsh 1st thing in the morning, so will watch this thread with interest for replies.

Sounds like its the PG,also you could try 70/30 menthol,i had a rip roaring nasty cold and it kept all my nasal passeges open and soothed the throat.

Where do you get 100% vg nic base from at a good price? I've only seen the pricy stuff.
I only buy 100ml at a time... lasts me ages lol

I use a pg nic base sorry then use vg from boots and im only on 10 mg nic level so the pg in the 54mg is next to nothing mate

Ah see my nic base is only 36mg and I vape 18mg so I normally vape a 50/50 mix.

Does the VG make it less harsh? I find the throat hit on some of my juices a bit much.

Yes, VG (glycerine) is traditionally used as sore throat medicine, so it's ideal for a smoother vape. Or just drink it neat

PG gives you throat hit, VG gives you plenty of vapour and also a sweet taste although getting a 100% VG base quite cheap is like finding rocking horse poop.

I'd try a menthol mix with at least 50% VG and some sweetness to it if you have a cold or sore throat it will help. Make your own with some menthol crystals and some Stevia.
