Taste change?

Do your tastebuds change after a week or so vaping?

Today my all day vape menthol is not doing it for me, and I'm not keen on my other juices

Have tried mixing a few but no joy, am back on my 10motives till my next order comes hopefully tomorrow.

If you have only just stopped smoking then yes.....Mine went crazy

Yes! I posted about this last night, everything tastes wrong and weird. Even food I love like chocolate and my toffee apple cider doesn't taste the same. I've switched to menthol today and although it tastes better than anything else I'm finding it a tad boring, I really want to vape something else but I know it will taste bad!

Glad it isn't just me then lol.

And I know what u mean about food! Had my favourite breakfast this morning, cheese and bacon croissants, and it wasn't great I was gutted lol.

I'm finding I don't like chocolate too! Oh well at least I may loose some kg

9 months in and yesterday and today all I want to vape is my favourite tobacco during the day and menthol in the evening.
I probably have 20 odd other flavours sitting in the tray looking pretty and not doing anything else.

I suppose my tastebuds are like most other parts of my body, they have off days too.

My tastebuds have gone on strike today. Seems I can't taste anything - even my tobacco mint just feels cool rather than having a flavour. I've tried drinking lemonade (which sometimes works), cleaning my teeth, brushing my tongue, and rinsing my mouth out with Listerine, and still nothing. Can't even taste the vanilla custard, and that usually cuts through anything! Grrr! Going to have a glass or two of home made wine in a while, and see if that clears the mouth out a bit (it's a bit potent!). Very annoying, as I have 3 new (to me) flavours here I want to try, but not a lot of point right now.

Sounds daft but strong coffee seems to reset my taste buds. Just ran out to get some decaf to drink tonight. Brushing my teeth and tongue and using mouthwash didn't make much difference here either.

The same thing happened to me after about three weeks. Everything started to taste, well, er tasteless. But I stuck with it and everything came back eventually. So my advice is stick with it and you'll be fine.

I think it very much depends on what I have eaten, to what I taste flavour wise from my e-cig.

I do not drink Tea, Coffee or Alcohol. My main liquid refreshment is Pepsi Max, but even this can taint the taste of a lot of my e-juice flavours.

So over the past few months, when doing any serious vaping, usually in the evening, my liquid of choice is Sparkling Water. This refreshes my mouth and takes care of my liquid intake without contaminating the flavours of the e-cig.

Update: my home made elderflower wine seems to be doing the trick - my tongue is working again! Gawd knows what that says about the wine... now I have to be patient and wait for my new Kanger Pro thing to arrive (hopefully) in the morning, so I can use it in its virgin state to vape my absolute favourite - Wingnut's Wibble!

Well I'm vaping jolly rancher at mo, it's not too bad but it's really drying my mouth up

Mine changed a lot in the early days. Also, drinking anything with Aspartame or Acesulfame K is a recipe for disaster.
