I bought some .2 kanthal and wick the other day. It came today and as soon as i got home from work i proceeded to rewick my V3 and Evod.
Feeling confident enough that I'd watched enough videos and read enough guides to do it straught away, i got down to business.

No pictures sorry....i got carried away rewicking, but it was a success! My V3 seems to be around 2.4ohms at a guess (comparing to the stock coil's vape, hiss, time till coil went red etc.) My Evod on the other hand seems to be crazy low omhs. It nearly instantly glows red, and producess loads of vape. I've had to knock my twist down to 3.2V to get a similar feel as the stock coil had at 3.8V haha...

All in all i'm quite chuffed. I'm going to do my Nova next so i'll post pics

I must say though...even after double checking the wraps, and then checking the insides of the head with a light to make sure nothing was shorting out....i still cringed when i went to press the button on my ego
I really was expecting a pop....but no! Just glowing coils
Unfortunately my hard drive got corrupted today and I have to redownload lots of Microsoft ISO's and tech software to rebuild software collection before i re wick my nova Gives me something to look forward to though
Think i need to get a cheap multimeter though to check these ohms....the evod is making my tongue a bit funny!

My Mr got one from eBay for less than £5. Can't remember exactly how much but it was cheap.

Well, i decided to rewick the evod instead, seeing as my last attempt ended up with it being el scorchio..
Just look at the state of it after 1 fill
