The one I linked to above stanwix is in the North of England, Cumbria, very close to Scotland

Seton Sands is near Edinburgh, I've never been to that one before but have a sneaky weekend booked there in July. I'll be happy so long as I can walk my dog on the beach.

There's not much at Eyemouth, it has a nice wee harbour though and is in the picturesque Scottish Borders and only a stone throw from Northumberland which has a lovely coast line. Not too far from Alnwick which has the caste that Harry Potter was filmed at.

I live in Scotland we do 90% of our folding camper camping in Scotland, but we would not use any of the sites on your list.

It very much depends on what you are looking for in a caravan holiday.
Is a Static Van type holiday on a Holiday Park that you are looking for?

If it is and you are wanting to go sight seeing each day from a base, then look for something in the Falkirk, Stirling, Dunfermline, Edinburgh area and then you will have a big choice of days out.

just a thought Kev, sometimes it is cheaper to book direct with the park as they do not make extra charges for "entertainment passes, swimming pool entry, electricity, linen etc" also you guarantee the choice of park you want. might warrant some investigation.

it will be our 1st sun holiday im not that bothered but the mrs has nailed it :-(

Moray is having a bit of a drought right now (so that's the nairn one you need) so should be balmy there...only be careful cos you'll sand everywhere...

But loads of distilleries etc etc and castles and ME!!!!

I vaguely remember a very drunken night in Aberdeen in a "lady's"(???) flat with just her and I and two bottles of Drambuie. 

I remember being extremely happy the morning after. I am just a bit vague as to why I was so happy!

Well Johanino, Were you in Aberdeen in 1968?

That was the same year that we found they were selling Merrydown Apple Wine in the Students Bar of Aberdeen Uni and many is the night we spent there, drunk as Skunks on Merrydown.
