Not meaning to harp on about the death of a battery but i think i might know what killed it. My adapters for 301 -510 came a few days ago. I duly fitted them and tried out the 510 attys (joye) i had also purchased. The battery lasted longer than normal and i had enjoyed massive plumes of vapor. When the battery ran down i went to recharge it and .....nothing.....still nothing. So i been thinking, especially now my wife has just had the same thing (this morning) happen to her battery.
Could this be a question of polarity ? I don't fully understand micro-electrics. So i'm asking here if it is something to do with the polarity is there anything i can do resue the situation ? My wife has the adapter and joye 510 atty on her current battery and when i started to have this hunch i took it off her and tried the 301 atty and it now wont work. Even thought it's the atty (301) that came with the battery she is using. Her joye 510 atty with adapter works fine but we now suspect it's going to kill this battery too.
Any advice guys ??? Or suggestions.

It can happen Del,but its only ever happened to me with Riva/Ego batteries.Ive never had a problem since using my mods.It doesnt happen that often but a faulty atty can most definately kill a battery.

These don't get hot roacher. These work brilliantly. Thats what makes me think it's something to do with polarity. And how come the charger is registering ....green...fully charged. When in fact it is empty. Can see what i'm saying ?

So the batteries are not dead then ??? If when you add the batteries to the charger when they need charged ,the light goes straight to green then the charger may be knackered.

My batteries are from the xpower 900.
When i screw my battery to the charger the light on the charger normally turns red then after a couple of hours of charging it the light on the charger turns to green. Now, as soon as i screw in my discharged battery the light on the charger goes to green. As i bought two kits i have access to another charger and the same on that. Light goes straight to green.

Oh i see If i was you mate i would contact the vendor and see what can be done.Sounds like the battery has had it to me though.I would try a new atty on a working battery and leave the suspect atty, just incase.Atleast then you will be able to determine if the atty is shorting the batterys
