Hmmm, I was tempted but thought it too cheap to be any good. Also @ USB2 speeds would be very slow.

I have USB3 ports on my new lappie and thought one of THESE would be better?

Yea, USB3 makes sense at this capacity. It would take 14.5 hours to fill that flash drive!

Good rule of thumb with flash storage, if it's not a well known name, avoid it. Personally, if it's not either Sandisk or Transcend I don't bother, because I know somewhere down the road i will lose out.

I've used many Samsung flash cards and usb sticks and they've been great especially the class 10 sd cards

Des its 2.5" USB bus powered.

What I did was buy one of these and then bought a cheap used 2.5" HDD and make my own which is super easy to do.
